Since it’s Father’s Day today, I wanted to share a one of my favorite photographs of my father and I. One of my sisters made this picture in 2008 when I graduated with my Master’s degree. (He looks cool with those shades.) It was a great day; my dad and the rest of my family were supportive. I’m glad and lucky that Father’s Day evokes positive feelings for me.

This morning two of my sisters and I had breakfast with him. We don’t often eat together as we did as kids, of course, since my whole family no longer lives in the same city or state anymore. He said that he was glad that we ate together this morning.
