I absolutely LIVE for Janelle Monae’s song “Cold War.” When I saw the video (didn’t catch the actual award show on television) of her peforming at the Grammy’s in 2011, I was in tears. By the time she gets to “‘cause in this life” I get that choked up feeling in my throat and then by the end at the “bye bye bye bye…don’t you cry when I say goodbye” part, I’m always in tears.
