How many of y’all refuse to wear diamonds b/c of political reasons?

Reading about conflict diamonds, watching the film Blood Diamonds and this Amnesty International photo permanently scarred my psyche. Plus, diamonds are overrated and overpriced. They’re glorified carbon. Fake diamonds look just as pretty. And for those who’ll say “well you know it is not real so it is not the same,” let me refer you to my post about how my trip to China plus a fake Louis Vuitton bag I bought there cost less than the real bag, and the trip was lifetime learning and cultural experience, and is lifetime memory. A bag, fake or real, cannot compete.
