“If You Reject Bigotry and Oppression…You’re The Real Bigot!”

Apparently…the new craze beyond basic silencing tactics is to claim that the person you offended is the ‘real’ offensive one…

If I critique racism, I’m a “racist?” But commiting a racist act, stating racist words, actively supporting or advocating institutionalized racism or ignoring White privilege’s effect on presumed equality = not a racist?

I’m a “misandrist” if I critique sexism by men and a “bitter Black bitch” if I critique sexism by Black men? But commiting a sexist act, stating sexist or misogynist words, actively supporting the minimization of the agency of women (and specifically Black women in many cases) or ignoring male privilege’s effect on presumed equality = not a sexist?

The “I’m rubber, you’re glue” tactic is a Karl Rove (and GOP by proxy) campaign propoganda tactic, but apparently, it has devolved into a silencing tactic.

It won’t work here though.

Nice try.
