I don’t subscribe to Ladies’ Home Journal. But, since I saw Michelle Obama on the cover, I decided to check out the cover story. (She’s so pretty…always. Love this cover.)

The First Lady and the President shared their views regarding women’s empowerment, women in politics and their daughters, Sasha and Malia. It’s a GOOD read.

Politics aside, I completely and thoroughly stan for Obama as a father, in the way that I do Will Smith. Love. (Pretty obvious that I stan for loving Black mothers…to those who read my blog regularly.)

I love that when President Obama mentioned nurturing, he used the word “socialized” and not “are” in regards to women. (Is he sneaking and reading some bell hooks? *smile*)
